No more excuses

Now that Obama has become President, African Americans don't have anymore excuses for our quality of life. We can do anything we want, and become anything we want if we put our mind to it. So from this point forward Blacks can't blame the government for its problems, because the last threshold of power by whites has been lost.  

All I ask of Blacks is to get off your ass and get involved, learn about your government, and who represents you in Congress. Now that Obama is President, stop looking for hand outs, stop looking for your Government to bail you out, and give you money, because we know that if you want it, you can make it happen. January 20, 2009 America has it's First Black President, that is something to be proud of, but that doesn't mean that Blacks will get a free ride, or hand outs. Its time for Blacks to put up or shut up.
